Safety Officer

SEC is looking for an effective and communicative Safety Officer willing to collaborate in our Business unit. The purpose of this position is to manage the Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) function to create and sustain a productive work culture and safe work environment.

Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Prepare and compile safety programs.

  • Practice safe working techniques.

  • Implement and maintain health and safety standards.

  • Maintain compliance with all safety regulations.

  • Conduct regular staff meetings to share best practice techniques.

  • Standardize health and safety both for corporate and construction sites.

  • Promote safety initiatives.

  • Document staff information, minutes of meetings, and reports compiled for management in relation with safety practices.

  • Regularly inspect equipment.

Education and Experience:

  • A bachelor’s degree or an associate degree.

  • Valid competency certificates.

  • Registered as a Health and Safety Officer.

  • Strong communication skills.

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in this position.

  • Proficient in all Microsoft Applications.
